Service Manager Customisation part 1


OK, I know that there has been a lot of blogging about customising your system center service manager installation. Still I had some issues in implementing custom workflows so I create a step-by-step.
1. Create a Management Pack in the Authoring console.
2. Create a new class Based on Activity and add a property ex. Username

  1. Create a custom form having an entry for the username property

  1. Create a workflow ( execution on creation of object )

Item 1 Powershell script for creation of AD User

Use the following script for the creation of the AD user :

Use script properties to use variables in the PoSh

Second Part is the Set Activity to Completed. Use The Internal ID number as ActivityID.

Save your work.
Copy the .dll from the management pack to your System Center Service Manager Directory.

Also copy the following dll’s from the autoring Console to your Service Manager Directory.
